Seminar 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. local time. Registration begins after 8:30 a.m. and breakfast will be available.

This two-day program is designed especially for credit analysts tasked with the responsibility of underwriting the underlying credit strengths and weaknesses of business purpose loans.

Who Should Attend

In addition to credit analysts, bankers who are lenders to business owners will also benefit as will chief lending officers and chief credit officers.

  • Understanding the purpose of the loan
  • Required financial information to support the loan’s purpose
  • Steps in financial analysis - Comparative Analysis - Ratio Analysis - Cash Flow and Debt Service Coverage Analysis
  • Evaluation of the business owner’s personal financial statement - Stated net worth vs. Tangible net worth
  • Working with federal income tax returns - Reconciling business operating statements with Schedule M-1
  • Analyzing the business owner’s repayment capacity - Personal cash flow statements - Uniform cash analysis - Global debt service coverage analysis
  • Analyzing future financial performance
There will be a series of case studies that will allow the program participants to apply the concepts identified above.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 29 days and 10 days prior to the event will be charged a $50 processing fee. There will be no refund for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the event. Substitutions are always welcome and encouraged. All cancellations and substitutions must be submitted in written format prior to the event.
